to consider when setting up a new email

Username: The email user account name.
Password: The password to set for the account.
Confirm Password: The password typed again for security purposes.
Display Name: Name of email seen in user listings and when sending email from
the webmail interface. If left blank, will be defaulted to the username@yourdomainname.
com.
Time Zone: (Optional) Set the time zone to your locale versus the server's.
Disable this user: If a user account needs to be disabled.

Reply-to Address: (Optional) If the user would like their reply address when they send
message through the email account to be another address; e.g. messages sent from username@
yourdomainname.com gets reply to username@another domainname.com instead.
Mailbox Size Limit: Default is 10MB. If set to 0, will be unlimited space but do know there
is a hard capped domain mail space limit of 250MB. If your email domain goes over 250MB, users will
not be able to send nor receive messages until messages are deleted from the server to be under 250MB.
If you plan to have users store their messages on the mail server, please set this limit low. If you
plan to users only access their email through POP3 (i.e. Outlook), you set the limit higher.
If you do not know what to set the limit for, the default 10MB should be fine.

Domain administrator: If you plan to have multiple users with domain level access. Users with
administrative domain level access will have the same rights as the default admin account.
Lock password: If you do not want the user to have the able to change their password.
Hide from Global Address List: (Enterprise Edition Only) If your users only use the web-based
mail interface and need a listings all of all other users in the domain. |
