WS FTP Walkthrough
How to use WS FTP to connect to your site

- Open WS_FTP. If you do not have it installed on your
computer, you can download it here.
- When WS_FTP loads up, a Session window will pop up.
There will be several fields here to fill out. For the
Profile Name field, you can type in any name that you
would like. For the "Host Name/Address" field, type in
your domain name (no www.), then your FTP username (which
should be in the format yourdomaincom) and the corresponding
password (this information is included in the Login Details
is given to you when you sign up for web hosting).
Then click OK.

- Active Mode
In order to connect to the FTP server properly, you need
to set WS_FTP to active mode. To do this, click on Options
at the bottom, then click on the Session tab. Once there,
make sure the checkbox for "Use Passive Transfer Mode" is
not checked.
- Your WS_FTP should now be set up correctly and ready to be used.
